1. AGREEMENT TO TERMS
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User", "you", or "your") and QuillCoder ("we", "us", or "our") concerning your access to and use of the QuillCoder mobile application (the "App"). The App provides optical character recognition (OCR) technology that converts images and documents into code using our custom fine-tuned machine learning models.
By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the QuillCoder App, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use the App.
2. LICENSE TO USE
2.1 Grant of License
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download, install, and use the QuillCoder App on your personal mobile device solely for your personal, non-commercial use.
2.2 License Restrictions
You agree NOT to:
- Copy, modify, adapt, translate, or create derivative works of the App
- Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to discover the source code or underlying algorithms of the App
- Rent, lease, lend, sell, sublicense, assign, distribute, publish, transfer, or otherwise make available the App to any third party
- Remove, alter, or obscure any proprietary notices on the App
- Use the App for any illegal, unauthorized, or prohibited purpose
- Use the App in any manner that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair our servers or networks
- Use automated systems (bots, scrapers, etc.) to access the App
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the App or any related systems or networks
3. OCR AND CODE GENERATION SERVICES
3.1 Service Description
QuillCoder uses custom fine-tuned machine learning models to provide OCR functionality that converts images, screenshots, and documents into code. The accuracy and quality of output may vary depending on image quality, code complexity, and other factors.
3.2 No Warranty of Accuracy
While we strive to provide accurate OCR and code generation services, we do NOT guarantee that:
- All text will be accurately recognized
- Generated code will be error-free, secure, or fit for any particular purpose
- The output will meet your specific requirements
- The service will be uninterrupted or error-free
3.3 User Responsibility
You are solely responsible for:
- Verifying the accuracy of OCR results
- Testing and validating any generated code before implementation
- Ensuring generated code meets security standards and best practices
- Any consequences of using code generated by the App in your projects
4. DATA COLLECTION AND PRIVACY
4.1 Privacy Policy
Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Please review the Privacy Policy to understand our data collection and processing practices.
4.2 Opt-In Data Collection
By default, we do NOT collect or use your images, documents, or generated code for model training or improvement purposes. Data collection for model improvement is ONLY conducted on an opt-in basis. You may choose to participate in our model improvement program through the App settings.
4.3 Third-Party Advertising
The App displays advertisements provided by Google AdMob. Google AdMob may collect certain information from you as described in Google's privacy policies. We do not control Google's data collection practices. For more information, please review:
5. USER CONTENT AND INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
5.1 User Content
You retain all ownership rights to images, documents, and other content ("User Content") that you upload to or process through the App. By using the App, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process your User Content solely for the purpose of providing OCR and code generation services to you.
5.2 Our Intellectual Property
The App, including all software, algorithms, machine learning models, design, text, graphics, user interface, and all intellectual property rights therein, are owned by QuillCoder and are protected by copyright, trademark, patent, and other intellectual property laws. You acknowledge that no ownership rights are being conveyed to you under these Terms.
5.3 Generated Code
Code generated by the App is provided to you for your use. However, we make no claims of ownership over the generated code, and you may use it in accordance with applicable law and these Terms.
6. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY (COPPA COMPLIANCE)
The App is NOT intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately.

DATA COLLECTION FOR MODEL TRAINING
BY DEFAULT, WE DO NOT COLLECT OR USE YOUR IMAGES, DOCUMENTS, OR GENERATED CODE FOR MODEL TRAINING OR IMPROVEMENT PURPOSES.
Data collection for model improvement is ONLY conducted on an OPT-IN basis. You may choose to participate in our model improvement program through the App settings. If you opt-in, the following data may be collected:
- Images and documents you process
- Generated code output
- Accuracy feedback you provide
2. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION
2.1 To Provide and Maintain the App
- Process images and documents for OCR functionality
- Generate code from recognized text
- Deliver app features and services

5.3 Data Deletion
Since we process your images locally and do not store them on our servers (unless you opt-in), there is no persistent data to delete. If you opted-in to model training, you can request deletion of your contributed data by contacting us.
